Manage your contact details, introduction, portrait, branding and colors in the CardFaro editor. Publish your contact page and share its URL through an NFC tag, a message or a QR code printed on your business card. Visitors can download a vCard to add your details to their address book. The page URL stays the same after contact updates. Its URL name becomes permanent when first published, helping existing NFC tags and printed QR codes keep working. **Features** * A standalone editor for your digital business card, with no account registration, subscription or trial expiry. * Contact details, organization, introduction, portrait and logo from your Media Library. * Custom colors, brand text and two-line slogan. * German and English contact pages with browser language selection and manual switching. * vCard 3.0 download, QR code display and SVG download, and native sharing or clipboard support. * Optional links to your privacy policy and legal notice. * No public card listing and no automatic menu links. * No tracking, remote font loading, analytics or required external service. **Editor language** The CardFaro editor is currently available in German. Public contact pages can be viewed in German or English. Visitors can switch languages manually, and the page can select a language based on their browser settings. A bilingual German and English editor is planned for a future release; it is not available yet. **NFC and printed cards** CardFaro does not write NFC tags or provide physical cards. Write the contact page URL to a compatible tag with a suitable app or device, or print its QR code on your physical card. Hardware and NFC writing software are not included. **Privacy** Only information you choose to publish appears on the contact page. A published page is accessible to anyone who knows its URL. The page requests no indexing, but this is not access protection. Unpublish the card to stop serving its contact details. The plugin stores the contact record in your WordPress database. It does not send it to an external service. Portrait and logo are selected from your Media Library. Deactivating or deleting the plugin preserves your contact data. To remove it permanently, unpublish and clear the fields before removing the plugin; remove any uploaded images separately if appropriate. Source and license: https://www.nayuki.io/page/qr-code-generator- library ## Installation 1. Install and activate CardFaro. 2. Open CardFaro in your WordPress administration menu. 3. Enter your contact details and choose a URL name using lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. 4. Select “Make this contact page public” and save. 5. Open the contact page to download its QR code as an SVG for printing and download the vCard. If a contact URL returns a 404 after activation, visit Settings > Permalinks and save once. No changes to the permalink structure are required. ## FAQ ### Does the free version stop working after a trial? No. This standalone single-contact plugin has no trial expiry or paid feature gates. ### Do I need an external account? No. The free contact page is managed and hosted by your WordPress installation. ### Can I change details after printing a QR code? Yes. Edit your contact details and keep the existing page URL. Changing your domain or moving your WordPress site may require redirects or rewriting your tags. ### Does this plugin write an NFC tag? No. Use an NFC writing app or compatible writer to store the contact-page URL on your tag. ### Is the editor available in English? Not yet. The editor is currently in German. Public contact pages support German and English, with browser-language selection and manual switching. A bilingual editor is planned for a future release. ### Does unpublishing delete my contact?
