It adds a floating timer to wp-admin, calculates the value of worked time from an hourly rate, and stores completed sessions in the local WordPress database. The Lite edition is deliberately small: it works without an account, license key, or external service. It is useful on its own for freelancers, site maintainers, support teams, and administrators who need a simple record of billable work. #### Included features * Floating work timer available throughout wp-admin for administrators. * Pause, resume, finish, save, reset, and compact controls. * Hourly-rate and currency configuration. * Client name, client email, project/site, work type, and internal notes. * Persistent local session history with Pending, Billed, and Discarded statuses. * Dashboard totals for today and the current month. * Manual session start: Lite never starts timing automatically when the timer loads. * WordPress admin-bar time and amount indicator. * Public non-persistent calculator through `[calcularia_lite_calculadora]`. * Suggested privacy-policy text. * No external data transfer. #### Lite and commercial editions CalcularIA Lite does not contain disabled premium modules or premium code. A separate commercial edition is available from the author’s website. CalcularIA Pro is a separate plugin that adds multiple concurrent timers, automatic start options, frontend timers, additional WordPress roles, advanced billing rules, mobile positioning, CSV export, CobrarIA and WooCommerce billing, Elementor widgets/templates, and private frontend summaries. The commercial edition is not required to use CalcularIA Lite. ### Privacy CalcularIA Lite stores work-session information in the WordPress database. Depending on use, this can include a WordPress user ID, site URL, customer name and email, project, work type, timestamps, duration, hourly rate, calculated amount, status, and internal notes. The unfinished timer state is also stored in the current browser so a session can survive page navigation inside wp-admin. CalcularIA Lite does not send this data to an external service. Completed session records remain stored until an administrator deletes them or uninstalls the plugin. Site administrators should define an appropriate legal basis, retention policy, and access policy for customer and work-session information. ## Installation 1. Upload the `calcularia-lite` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install the ZIP from Plugins > Add Plugin > Upload Plugin. 2. Activate CalcularIA Lite. 3. Open CalcularIA > Settings. 4. Set the hourly rate and currency. 5. Press Start in the floating timer and record a short test session. 6. Review the saved session under CalcularIA > Sessions. ## FAQ ### Does CalcularIA Lite send data to an external server? No. The Lite edition stores sessions locally in the WordPress database and does not include remote billing integrations. ### Can visitors see the work timer? No. The operational timer is available in wp-admin to users who can manage WordPress options. ### Is there a frontend feature? Yes. The shortcode `[calcularia_lite_calculadora]` displays a simple cost estimator. It does not store visitor input or create work sessions. ### Does saved history expire automatically? No. Completed sessions remain in the local WordPress database until an administrator deletes them or uninstalls the plugin. ### What does CalcularIA Pro add? CalcularIA Pro is a separate plugin with additional workflow capabilities such as multiple concurrent timers, automatic start options, commercial integrations, and advanced modules. Those modules and their code are not included in CalcularIA Lite. ### What happens to my data if I uninstall the plugin? When the plugin is deleted from the WordPress Plugins screen, its settings and local session table are removed.
