Every time your website is loaded, this plugin makes a request to check if you are online on these services. If you are online, data from Twitch is presented in the theme. The following data is displayed from Twitch: * Online / Offline status from Twitch * Active game / category * Viewer count * Videos (clips, highlights and past broadcasts) ### Setup This plugin keeps an active connection to the Twitch API, which requires you to add a Client ID and Client secret from Twitch. Instructions on where to find this data are included in the plugin, but you can also find those instructions [here](https://support.streamweasels.com/article/12-how-to-setup-a-client-id-and-client-secret). ## Screenshots [⌊Broadcast Lite Demo (Twitch)⌉⌊Broadcast Lite Demo (Twitch)⌉[ Broadcast Lite Demo (Twitch) [⌊Broadcast Lite Demo (YouTube)⌉⌊Broadcast Lite Demo (YouTube)⌉[ Broadcast Lite Demo (YouTube) ## Reviews ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/c9075664007358db0e92a45d31921e87097c4536409101f63c53cc468db3eb44? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Still works after many years of service](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/still-works-after-many-years-of-service/)󠁿 [HotRod](https://profiles.wordpress.org/hotrod/) April 16, 2025 Tested to be working fine with WP 6.8 ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/9304ad62d042cfcfd57090f73bd86b48bc2dc70a9bad71674735a65b3897a2cf? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Very good](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/very-good-4817/)󠁿 [Vaibhav Agarwal](https://profiles.wordpress.org/vaibhavagar/) June 2, 2020 Used it on one of my sites, and loved the way ot works. The countdown application in the stream helped my audience grow while also keeping me on a dedicated schedule. New visitors to my site were able to view my stream and engage with my audience without any issue. I actually can't rate this application highly enough. After my experience with the theme, I tried both their Twitch TV Easy Embed plugin and their Twitch TV Rail plugin; I vouch very highly for both. Highly HIGHLY recommend use of any and all product that StreamWeasel provide. They're a great company. Very hands on and have actively replied to any/all emails/request for support I have. I freaking love them. [ Read all 3 reviews ](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/broadcast-companion/reviews/) ## Contributors & Developers “Broadcast Companion (Twitch)” is open source software.
