It adds boards, columns and task cards to wp-admin so your team can plan content, client projects, store orders or everyday to-dos without leaving WordPress. Everything stays in your own database. Visitors never load anything. #### Dashboard and My Tasks Every user lands on a dashboard with their numbers (open tasks, overdue, due this week, boards) and a personal list of open tasks assigned to them across all boards, grouped into Overdue, Due today, Next 7 days and Later. #### Assignment emails When someone is assigned a task, they get an email with the task title, board, column, priority, due date, labels, checklist progress, description, linked content and a button to open it. Emails go through your site’s own mail setup (wp_mail), and nobody is emailed about an assignment they made themselves. Admins can turn this off under Kanban Board > Settings. #### Daily reminders Each morning, assignees get one email listing their open tasks that are overdue, due today or due tomorrow, with a link to each. Nothing is sent to people with nothing due. #### Email preferences Everyone decides for themselves: the “Email me” card on the dashboard switches assignment emails and daily reminders on or off for that person. In your dashboard go to Plugins > Add New, search for “Brigade Kanban Board”, then install and activate it. Or upload the `brigade-kanban-board` folder to `/wp-content/ plugins/`. 2. Go to Kanban Board > All Boards and click New board. 3. Pick a template, name the board and start adding tasks. 4. Administrators and editors have access by default. Change this under Kanban Board > Settings. ## FAQ ### How do I add a Kanban board to WordPress? Install and activate Brigade Kanban Board, open Kanban Board > All Boards in your dashboard and click New board. Choose a template or start blank, then add tasks to each column and drag them as work moves forward. ### Is Brigade Kanban Board free? Yes. Every feature described on this page is free, with no time limits or task limits. ### Can my team report bugs or content fixes from the page itself? Yes. Anyone with Kanban Board access gets an “Add task” button in the toolbar. They can point at the element, paste a screenshot and assign the task to a developer or writer. The task stores the page address, browser and screen size, and “Show on page” highlights the element later. ### Can I use it as a task manager or to-do list? Yes.
