## Description
Brigade Blocks Addons extends the WordPress Block Editor with professionally designed
blocks, without a page builder. Everything is organised into modules you can switch
on or off; a disabled module registers no blocks, scripts or styles.
Every block can be styled in depth from the editor’s Styles tab — typography, colors,
gradients, background images with overlays, borders, per-corner radius, layered
box shadows, spacing, sizes, flex and grid layout, position, opacity and visibility—
separately for hover, focus and active states and for desktop, tablet and mobile.
Only the controls that make sense for each block are shown.
Blocks use the Donix design system — coral accent, ink headings, Urbanist type and
a single 6px radius — and every value is a CSS custom property your theme can override.

#### Brigade Blocks Addons Pro
A separate, optional add-on adds a Dynamic Data module: Loop Builder, Dynamic Tags
and Conditional Content. This plugin is complete on its own and contains no Pro
code; its settings screen lists Pro modules and blocks with a PRO badge so you can
see what the add-on includes.
#### Performance and privacy
* Styles load only on pages that use a block.
* Front-end scripts are tiny, dependency-free and load only with their block: click-
to-load for Video and Google Maps, Tabs, Content Toggle, Counter, Progress Bar,
carousels, AJAX load more / filter, live search, the login form, the mini cart
drawer and chart animations. Accordion, Flip Box, post grids, lists and masonry,
and every chart itself need no JavaScript.
* The Urbanist font is served from your own site. Choose “Inherit from theme” to
load no fonts at all.
* YouTube uses youtube-nocookie.com and Vimeo uses do-not-track; neither loads
until the visitor presses play.
### External services
Some blocks can show content from third-party services. Nothing is sent to these
services unless you add the block to a page, and the Video and Google Maps blocks
can wait until the visitor clicks before loading anything.
#### Google Maps (Google Maps block)
The Google Maps block embeds a map from Google Maps (maps.google.com) for the address
or place you enter, and can link to Google Maps directions. When the map loads,
the visitor’s browser requests it from Google, which receives the visitor’s IP address,
browser details and the address or place shown. With “Click to load” enabled, nothing
is requested until the visitor clicks the map.

#### YouTube (Video and Video Gallery blocks)
When a Video or Video Gallery block uses a YouTube link without a custom poster,
the thumbnail is loaded from i.ytimg.com and, after the visitor presses play, the
video is embedded from youtube-nocookie.com. YouTube receives the visitor’s IP address,
browser details and the video ID.

#### Vimeo (Video and Video Gallery blocks)
When a Video or Video Gallery block uses a Vimeo link, the video is embedded from
player.vimeo.com (with Do Not Track) after the visitor presses play. Vimeo receives
the visitor’s IP address, browser details and the video ID.

#### Google Sheets or another CSV link (Chart block)
Only when you set a Chart block’s data to “From a link”, your website’s server downloads
that link — for example a Google Sheet (docs.google.com) or any CSV file address
you enter — to draw the chart, and keeps a cached copy (5 minutes to one day, as
you choose). The request is made by your server, not by visitors’ browsers; it contains
no visitor data, only the address you entered. Private or local network addresses
are never contacted.

This plugin provides 50 blocks.
* Icon Box A feature or service card: tinted icon badge, title, description and
an optional link.
* Icon A single line icon, plain or inside a Donix tinted badge, with an optional
link.
* Divider A horizontal rule with style, weight and width options, and an optional
centered label or icon.
* Container A flexible layout wrapper for any blocks: flex or grid, full-width
or boxed content, nesting, backgrounds, overlays, borders, shadows, positioning
and per-device settings.
* Heading A section heading with an optional eyebrow label, accent separator
and supporting paragraph.
* Text Editor Rich text content — paragraphs, lists and quotes — set in Donix
body type, with optional columns and drop cap.
* Button A call-to-action button in the Donix style: primary, dark, outline or
text, with an optional icon.
* Image A responsive image with aspect-ratio cropping, hover effects, caption
and link.
* Video YouTube, Vimeo or self-hosted video. External players load only when

* HTML Custom HTML with a live preview. Users without the unfiltered_html capability
have unsafe markup removed on save.

* Image Box An image card with title, text and link — stacked, or with text over
a dark scrim.
* Accordion Collapsible sections built on native — no JavaScript. One-
at-a-time or multiple open, FAQ schema, and nesting.
* Timeline A vertical timeline of milestones — one-sided or alternating — with
dot, number or icon markers.
* Content Toggle Switch between two sets of content with a toggle — e.g. monthly
and yearly pricing, or before and after.
* Process Steps Explain how you work in a row of numbered or icon steps joined
by a connector.
* Tabs Accessible tabs — underline, pills or boxed, horizontal or vertical —
with keyboard navigation and deep links.
* Slider A slider you design yourself: every slide holds any blocks, with its
own background image, colour and overlay. Slide or fade, one or several slides
at a time, arrows, dots and autoplay.
* Flip Box A card that flips on hover, focus or tap to reveal a message and a
call to action.
* Call to Action A conversion banner: eyebrow, headline, supporting text and
buttons on a dark, brand, tinted or image background.
* Counter An animated statistic that counts up when scrolled into view, with
prefix, suffix and optional icon badge.
* Progress Bar A labelled progress or skill bar that fills when scrolled into
view.
* Form Styler Show a Contact Form 7 or WPForms form, styled to match your design.
* User Profile The logged-in visitor’s avatar, name and bio, with account and
log-out links. Logged-out visitors can see a login link instead.

* Mini Cart A cart icon with item count and total that opens a cart drawer or
links to the cart — ideal for headers.
* Product Search A WooCommerce product search box, with an optional category
dropdown.
* Product Categories WooCommerce product categories as image tiles in a grid
or carousel.
* Add to Cart An add-to-cart button, with quantity and price, for any product

* Process Step One step: marker, title and short description.
* Accordion Item One collapsible section of an Accordion. Holds any blocks, including
another Accordion.
* Tab One panel of a Tabs block. Holds any blocks.
## Installation
1. Upload the plugin through Plugins Add New Plugin Upload Plugin, or copy it to
wp-content/plugins.
2. Activate Brigade Blocks Addons.
3. Open Brigade Blocks in the admin menu to choose modules and blocks.
4. In the editor, search for “Brigade” in the block inserter.
## FAQ
### Does it require a page builder?
No. It is built entirely on the native Block Editor.
### What happens to my content if I disable a module?
Nothing is deleted. The blocks stop rendering and are restored as soon as you switch
the module back on.
### Can my theme change the colors and fonts?
Yes. Override the –wpbb-* custom properties, for example :root { –wpbb-brand: #0a7cff;}.
### Is there a Pro version?
Yes, Brigade Blocks Addons Pro is a separate add-on that needs this plugin. Everything
described above is free and stays free.
### Where is the source code of the compiled scripts?
The human-readable source of every file in build/ is included in the src/ folder
of the plugin. Build it with Node.js: `npm install` then `npm run build` (see package.
json).
