This plugin puts the web chat half of it on your WordPress site: a small chat bubble in the corner that answers your visitors in your business’s own words, day or night. It answers from what you have told it about your business — what you do, where you work, your hours, your prices if you have given them — takes a message when it cannot help, and passes booking requests straight over. Every conversation lands on your blowR account, and you get a text or a WhatsApp when one needs you. **This plugin needs a blowR account.** blowR is a paid service, charged per conversation, and every account starts with free credit and no card details. The plugin itself is free and does its whole job the moment you save your web chat key — nothing in it is locked or held back. #### What you do 1. Install and activate the plugin. 2. Go to Settings blowR. 3. Paste your web chat key, which is in myBlowR under Integrations Web chat on your site. 4. That is it. The chat box appears on your site. If you have not got an account, the settings screen has a link that starts one. #### How it looks on your site The chat box renders inside a shadow root, which means your theme’s styling cannot break it and it cannot break your theme’s. It adds one script tag to your footer and nothing else — no stylesheets, no jQuery, no libraries, nothing in your admin on the front end. #### Removing it Clear the key, or deactivate the plugin, and the chat box is off your site immediately. Deleting the plugin removes its settings from your database. Neither touches your blowR account, your credit or your saved conversations — those live on blowR and are cancelled there. ### External services This plugin connects to blowR, a service operated by Johannson Limited, to provide the chat box and answer your visitors. It cannot work without it. **What is sent, and when.** Nothing is sent while a visitor is simply reading your pages. When a visitor opens the chat box and writes something, the following is sent to blowR: * what the visitor types, and the receptionist’s replies * the address of the page they are chatting from, and the referring page * their IP address, as part of making the request * anything they choose to tell the receptionist — typically a name, a phone number or an email address * your web chat key, which identifies which blowR account the conversation belongs to The conversation is stored on your blowR account so that you can read it afterwards and so the receptionist can follow up. blowR uses AI language models to produce the replies. **When the admin screen is open**, the plugin also asks blowR whether your saved key is valid, so it can tell you which business it is answering as. That request sends only the key and your site’s address, and happens only in wp-admin. The script itself is loaded from `https://api.blowr.co.uk/widget.js` on every page where the chat box appears. Yes. The plugin is the bridge to the service and cannot answer anybody on its own. Accounts start with free credit and no card details, and the settings screen links to the signup. ### What does it cost? The plugin is free. blowR charges per conversation, and the current rate is shown on blowr.co.uk and inside your account before anything is charged. Your free opening credit is spent first. ### Will it slow my site down? The script is loaded asynchronously in the footer, so it never blocks your page from rendering. It loads no stylesheets and no libraries. ### Will it clash with my theme? It should not. Everything the widget draws lives inside a shadow root, which isolates it from your site’s CSS in both directions. ### Can I change the colour? Yes, on the settings screen, or in myBlowR. Leave the plugin’s colour blank and whatever you have set in myBlowR is used. ### Does it work on multisite? Yes. The key is per site, because a key identifies one business — two sites on a network are two businesses with two receptionists, and each needs its own key. ### What happens to conversations if I delete the plugin? They stay on your blowR account.
