Arbitrary section

You may provide arbitrary sections, in the same format as the ones above. This may be of use for extremely complicated
plugins where more information needs to be conveyed that doesn’t fit into the categories of “description” or
“installation.” Arbitrary sections will be shown below the built-in sections outlined above.

A brief Markdown Example

Ordered list:

  1. Some feature
  2. Another feature
  3. Something else about the plugin

Unordered list:

  • something
  • something else
  • third thing

Here’s a link to WordPress and one to Markdown’s Syntax Documentation.
Titles are optional, naturally.

Markdown uses email style notation for blockquotes and I’ve been told:

Asterisks for emphasis. Double it up for strong.

<?php code(); // goes in backticks ?>

Reviews

Lives up to its name… Awesome 🙂

Simple, elegant, gets the job done... Thank you! I tried a few similar plugins before settling on this one because it has the simple and versatile short code: [Awesome-youtube-subscribe]. I was trying to find one that allowed visitors to a blog to subscribe the moment they click on the button. I discovered on a YouTube developer page that this can't be done anymore. Since Oct 2017, YouTube code now sends blog visitors to the YouTube channel to subscribe. BTW, my admin plugin page says this plugin has not been tested with my version of WordPress, but I've had no problems with it so far for a few days. I'm on WordPress 4.8.6 running Universe theme and have two caching plugins running (Autooptimize and WP Fastest Cache to optimize html/css/js and minify html/css and combine js files). Works fine. Note to developer: I would recommend you fill out the information properly in the plugin download page. It looks incomplete (and makes you look a bit lazy) and therefore may make some people not trust the quality of your plugin, which would be a pity.
