Open an order, click once, and it becomes an invoice in Zoho Books — with the customer matched, the right tax applied, and the line items priced exactly as the order was. This is a third-party integration. It is not developed by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Zoho Corporation. #### How it works You send orders when you choose to. There is no automatic trigger and no background rule deciding what reaches your accounts: you open the order, you press the button, the invoice appears in Zoho Books. Stock comes back the other way once an hour so WooCommerce reflects what Zoho holds. #### Your credentials never leave your site BooksBridge talks directly from your server to your own Zoho Books organization, using a Zoho application you create and own. Nothing is proxied through anyone else’s server. There is no telemetry, no analytics, and no usage tracking of any kind — the plugin contacts nothing except the Zoho organization you authorize. #### GST that is correct, not approximated Place of supply is derived from the billing state, then CGST/SGST or IGST is chosen per order. Union territories, reverse charge, and the difference between nil-rated, exempt and zero-rated supplies are handled distinctly, because an accountant will notice if they are not. HSN/SAC codes ride along on every line, and a GSTIN is validated with its check digit before it is sent. #### Nothing is silently lost Every sync runs through a background queue with de-duplication, automatic retries with backoff, and permanent-versus-temporary error classification — so a network blip retries and a rejected tax number does not retry forever. That connection is the entire purpose of the plugin, and it is made only to the Zoho organization you authorize. * **Service:** Zoho Books API — the regional endpoint you select (for example ` https://www.zohoapis.in/books/v3`) and the matching Zoho accounts domain for authentication. * **When it is used:** when you authorize the connection, and thereafter whenever you send an order, or when a product, customer or stock level is synced. * **What is sent:** the order, customer, product and tax data required to create the corresponding Zoho Books records — customer name, billing address, email, order line items, prices and tax amounts — together with your OAuth access token. * **Terms of service:** https://www.zoho.com/terms.html * **Privacy policy:** https://www.zoho.com/privacy.html That is the only external service. Install and activate BooksBridge, and make sure WooCommerce is active. 2. Go to **BooksBridge Setup** and follow the wizard. 3. Create a Server-based client in the Zoho API Console, paste the Client ID and Secret, authorize, and pick your organization. 4. Map your tax rates, check your products have SKUs, and send a test order. ## FAQ ### Is this an official Zoho plugin? No. This is an independent, third-party plugin developed by AutoSyncPress. Install the plugin, then open **BooksBridge Setup**. The wizard walks you through choosing your Zoho region, creating a Server-based application in the Zoho API Console( with the exact redirect URI to copy), pasting your Client ID and Secret, authorizing, and picking your organization. Most stores are connected in about ten minutes. ### Do I need to create a Zoho API application myself? Yes, and the setup wizard shows you how, step by step, with a direct link to the correct regional API console. Using your own Zoho application means your credentials never pass through anyone else’s server. ### Does an order sync automatically? No. This plugin sends an order when you press the button on the order screen, or when you select orders in the orders list and use the bulk action. Nothing is sent to your accounts without you asking for it. ### Does it work with the free Zoho Books plan? Yes. The free Zoho plan allows API access, and BooksBridge paces itself inside Zoho’s own API limits. If your volume outgrows the free Zoho plan, that is a Zoho plan limit rather than a plugin one. ### Does it handle Indian GST, HSN codes and place of supply? Yes. Place of supply is derived from the billing state, CGST/SGST or IGST is chosen correctly for intra- and inter-state sales, HSN/SAC codes are sent per line, and a GSTIN is validated with its check digit before it is used. ### Does it work with multiple currencies? Yes. Orders in a foreign currency are sent with the matching currency code, provided that currency is enabled in your Zoho organization. If Zoho does not accept it, the plugin says so on the order rather than filing the figures under the wrong currency. ### What happens if a sync fails? Nothing is lost. Every sync runs through a background queue with automatic retries and backoff. Failures are recorded in the sync log with the exact API response, and you can retry any record with one click. ### Will it slow down my store or checkout? No. Syncing happens in the background through WooCommerce’s Action Scheduler, so nothing is added to the request your customer waits on. ### Which countries are supported? All Zoho Books regions. India gets full GST handling; other regions use the VAT and sales-tax fields automatically. ### Does it send my data anywhere except Zoho? No. BooksBridge talks only to your own Zoho Books organization, using your credentials. It does not phone home.
