Install and activate this plugin alongside WooCommerce. 2. From WooCommerce Settings AutonifyAI (or the AutonifyAI item in your admin sidebar), click **Connect to AutonifyAI**. 3. You’ll be redirected to the AutonifyAI portal to authorize the connection for your store. 4. Once connected, enable the chat widget and customize its color and position from the same settings screen. #### External services This plugin is a connector for the AutonifyAI SaaS platform (https://autonifyai. com) and communicates with AutonifyAI’s servers as part of its core functionality. Specifically: * **On connection**: your store URL, store name, WooCommerce/WordPress/PHP versions, currency, timezone, site language, store contact email, address, and phone number are sent to AutonifyAI’s API (`https://api.autonifyai.com`) to register the store connector. This happens only when you click “Connect to AutonifyAI” in the plugin settings. * **Ongoing sync**: after connecting, product, inventory, order, and coupon changes are pushed to AutonifyAI’s API (`https://api.autonifyai.com/plugin-events/...`) so the AI agent’s knowledge stays current. AutonifyAI also calls back into your store’s REST API (using signed, authenticated requests) to look up or modify orders and products at a customer’s request. * **Chat widget and engagement tracking**: when enabled, this plugin loads a JavaScript file from `https://app.autonifyai.com/widget.js` on your storefront pages to render the chat widget. The widget’s conversations — and the shopper’s chat activity within them (e.g. products discussed, intent to purchase, estimated order value)— are processed and stored by AutonifyAI’s servers, not by this plugin, in order to power the AI agent’s replies and the conversion/”missing revenue” reporting shown in your AutonifyAI dashboard. The widget does not track browsing activity outside of the chat window. By installing and connecting this plugin you agree to AutonifyAI’s Terms of Service( https://autonifyai.com/terms) and Privacy Policy (https://autonifyai.com/privacy). No data is sent to AutonifyAI until you explicitly complete the connection step described above, and the chat widget only runs on your storefront once you enable it. ## Installation 1. Upload the plugin files to `/wp-content/plugins/autonifyai-for-woocommerce`, or install directly through the WordPress plugins screen. 2. Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” screen in WordPress. 3. Ensure WooCommerce is installed and active. 4. Go to WooCommerce Settings AutonifyAI and click “Connect to AutonifyAI” to complete setup. ## FAQ ### Does this plugin require a WooCommerce store? Yes. The plugin checks for an active WooCommerce installation and will show an admin notice — and disable its functionality — until WooCommerce is installed and active. ### Do I need an AutonifyAI account? Yes, you’ll need an AutonifyAI account to complete the connection. You can create one during the connect flow at https://app.autonifyai.com. ### Is my store data secure? All communication with AutonifyAI happens over HTTPS. Requests from AutonifyAI back to your store are authenticated with a per-installation HMAC signature and a short- lived timestamp window, so credentials are never exposed in the browser or in page source. ### How do I disconnect? Use the “Disconnect from AutonifyAI” button on the plugin’s settings page.
