It causes problem for those products which are not related to teachable course. By the way, after updating this plugin, please must do re-save / update your teachable connected products for once. The Automatic Teachable Student Enrollment for WooCommerce plugin connects a WooCommerce store with the Teachable platform. Install it from the WordPress Plugin repository. and after installation Please follow below steps: 1. Teachable API KEY: Insert teachable API KEY in the API Key Field Under woocomerce- > Settings -> Teacheable. You can find your teachable API key from your teachable admin panel. Teachable dashboard -> Settings -> API keys 2. Publish Course Only: If you like to get only published courses from teachable then need to check it, otherwise it’ll get all courses from teachable. These courses will show at product add/edit page in admin area. 3. Order Status: Basically woocommerce has a couple of order status such as ( on-hold, Processing, Pendduing, Complete , darft ). So you can select right order status here to push student data to teachable for making enrollment success. 4. It natively ignores the User’s Wordpress login email and will enroll the user in Teachable using their billing email address. That seems very backward (nicest work I could think of) to me. Md. Mahmudul Hasan contacted me and offered to code the plugin to enroll with the users Wordpress User Email instead of their Billing Email. Cost me $50, but will save both me and my customer frustration. Md.Mahmudul Hasan was kind, professional, and efficient. I chose to integrate Teachable with WooCommerce because I wanted to have a separate platform for hosting my videos / courses (like Teachable), yet have the sales come through in one place (WooCommerce). I have a variety of different products sold on my site and thus want to be able to upsell or cross-sell courses with those other products. This plugin allows me to create products within WooCommerce and automatically enrol students to a course on Teachable once they’ve purchased that product. How awesome is that?? This way customers won’t need to create an account on my main website so the student enrolment is completely outsourced to Teachable. With plugins like MemberPress that turn your Wordpress website into a course hosting site you have to “force” every customer, whether interested in your course or not to create an account, which can drive down sales and just isn’t fun 😀 For this plugin to work properly you do need to have the Teachable API function enabled which you will have access to within the free trial or their higher tier plan, so it’s a bit pricy. The stress that it saves me and the overall convenience is worth every penny though. Great job on this plugin.
