Enter the source price once. The original price stays visible, and the visitor’s local currency is added automatically when conversion is available. Automatic rate updates mean less manual currency maintenance. WooCommerce is not required. Built for publishers who write about prices, including travel blogs, affiliate and review sites, guides, resource sites, and international publications. WooCommerce is not required, no AutoCurr account is needed, and no API key is required by default. Requests are made server-side and include the requested source and target currency codes. AutoCurr does not send price amounts, post content, or the visitor’s IP address to Frankfurter. As with any server request, Frankfurter can see the website server’s outbound IP address. AutoCurr is built for prices inside WordPress posts and pages and does not require WooCommerce. Add a source price to your content and AutoCurr can show a localized conversion alongside it. ### How does AutoCurr choose a visitor’s currency? Available hosting/CDN country information is preferred where supported. The browser’s regional locale can be used as a fallback. If no supported target currency is determined, the original price remains visible. ### What happens if currency conversion is unavailable? The original price remains visible. AutoCurr does not replace it with an incorrect conversion. This also applies when JavaScript is unavailable or the site’s REST API cannot be reached. ### How often are exchange rates updated? Free updates exchange rates automatically when needed after previously fetched rates expire. Pro offers daily exchange-rate refresh. Updates happen when a conversion is requested; these are not real-time rates. ### Does AutoCurr track visitors? AutoCurr Free contains no telemetry or analytics. Exchange-rate requests are made server-side, and visitor IP addresses are not forwarded to rate providers. Providers can see the website server’s outbound IP address and the AutoCurr version in the request’s User-Agent. AutoCurr does not call an external geolocation service. ### What does AutoCurr Pro add? Pro adds visual publishing tools, reusable prices, visitor currency switching and additional display and rate controls.
