## Description

**AnchorBadge** lets you place a fixed floating element in any corner of your site—
always visible as visitors scroll.

Choose between two modes:

**Image Badge** — upload any image (JPG, PNG, WebP) and pin it to a corner with 
a link. Perfect for logos, certification badges, trust marks, banners and award 
logos.

**Announcement** — display a short text message with an optional button. Ideal for
promotions, notices, and calls to action.

#### Privacy

AnchorBadge does not collect or transmit any personal data. The optional close cookie
stores only a “1” value locally in the visitor’s browser.

## Installation

 1. Upload the `anchorbadge` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`
 2. Activate the plugin through **Plugins > Installed Plugins**
 3. Go to **AnchorBadge** in your WordPress admin menu
 4. Choose your mode, configure your settings, enable, and save

## FAQ

### What image formats are supported?

JPG, PNG, WebP, and GIF — up to 10 MB.

### Can I show the badge only on certain pages?

Yes — entire site, front page only, or one specific page or post.

### Is it GDPR compliant?

Yes. The close cookie stores only a “1” value. No data is sent to any external server.

### Does it work with caching plugins?

Yes. Badge rendering is server-side and the JS works with any caching setup.
