Employees can read products, quantities and variations inside Telegram without signing into WordPress. Connect one bot, save one destination, send a test, then enable notifications. New orders can include unpaid and Cash on Delivery orders; these alerts are not payment confirmations. Free includes one destination, background new-order delivery, bounded retries, duplicate prevention, delivery diagnostics, field selection and optional Kikote delivery-location links. There is no monthly notification quota. Select customer notes, name, telephone, email, address and registered extra checkout fields only when your team needs them. Personal details are off by default. Empty fields are omitted; legitimate zero values and Unicode content are preserved. Phone/ email text can be copied; automatic linking depends on the recipient’s Telegram client. Pro adds multiple destinations, team presets, status-change alerts, flat order rules, per-destination privacy and allowlisted plain-text message templates. Pro implementation is distributed separately and is not included in the WordPress.org Free package. This plugin is independently developed by Alharthiweb and is not affiliated with Telegram, WooCommerce or Automattic. #### External services and privacy Telegram Bot API: https://api.telegram.org/ is required for configured notification functionality. Nothing is sent to Telegram merely by activating this plugin. When you authorize and verify a bot, its credentials identify the bot to Telegram. Discovery checks webhook status and briefly reads pending updates to find your explicit pairing command without acknowledging them. Existing webhooks are never removed. Use a dedicated bot or enter a Chat ID manually. Tests send synthetic text. Enabled background notifications send your destination ID and selected order fields: order number/time/status, products/variations/quantities, totals/currency/payment and any optional customer, address, note, registered field or location data you enable. Telegram processes and stores messages under its own policies. Do not send payment credentials or unnecessary personal data. Google receives the location when a recipient opens that link. The plugin does not contact Google, geocode addresses or require a Google API key. Freemius receives license, account and site information; Telegram credentials and order messages are not sent to Freemius. The Free workflow does not require a Freemius connection or optional telemetry. Keep wp-config.php security keys with protected backups. Changing them makes existing encrypted configuration unreadable until the matching keys are restored. Delivery diagnostics store order IDs, opaque destination IDs, status codes and timestamps, not message bodies, tokens or full customer records. Diagnostics expire after 30 days. Disabling the plugin stops processing; uninstall preserves settings by default. Define ALHWOA_DELETE_DATA as true in wp-config.php before uninstall to remove this plugin’s settings and diagnostics. WooCommerce orders and messages already sent to Telegram are not deleted. Manage Telegram messages separately and disclose your store’s data sharing in its privacy policy. #### Source code assets/admin.js and assets/admin.css are the complete maintained source. No compilation, minification, package manager or external CDN is used. The bundled Freemius WordPress SDK is distributed with its readable source and GPL license; upstream source: https:// github.com/Freemius/wordpress-sdk (tag 2.13.4). Install and activate WooCommerce. PHP OpenSSL and mbstring are required for encrypted settings and Unicode messages. 2. Install Alharthiweb Order Alerts and open WooCommerce > Order Alerts. 3. Create a bot with Telegram’s BotFather and authorize the connection using its Bot Token. 4. Start the bot in your private chat or add it to your team group. Use safe pairing or enter the Chat ID. Channels require permission for the bot to post. 5. Send Test, choose the information to share, then enable notifications. 6. Ensure WordPress cron or a real cron runner processes WooCommerce Scheduled Actions. ## FAQ ### Does accepted mean an employee read the message? No. It means Telegram accepted the request. Timeouts or interrupted sends can produce an uncertain result. Check the destination before a manual retry to avoid duplicates. Exactly-once delivery is not guaranteed by the Telegram API. ### What happens when delivery fails? Explicit transient rejections and rate limits receive up to three attempts. Permanent errors need configuration repair. An uncertain response is not blindly retried. Diagnostics distinguish accepted, failed, retrying, paused and uncertain outcomes. ### Can I keep using my existing bot? Yes, through manual Chat ID entry. Safe discovery requires a dedicated bot: an existing webhook or competing polling client may prevent discovery. No webhook is removed or reconfigured. ### Can employees read orders without WordPress access? Yes. Selected products, variations, quantities and other details are in the message. The optional manager link still requires an authorized WordPress login. Long messages are visibly shortened to Telegram’s limit; staff should check remaining order details when that notice appears. ### How are old settings upgraded? Deactivate WC Order Telegram Alert before activating this plugin. Its bot token and Chat ID are copied to verified encrypted storage, then the migrated plaintext credentials are retired. Unrelated legacy settings are preserved. Existing customer- name sharing is retained and disclosed. New personal fields stay off. Returning to the original plugin requires re-entering its connection. Historical orders are not imported. ### What happens without Pro entitlement? The selected Free fallback destination continues receiving new-order summaries. Team configuration is retained, but extra destinations, status alerts, rules and custom templates require Pro entitlement. Use License & Account to view the provider’s actual license and renewal status. ### Does Kikote need to be active? No. When enabled, the integration reads valid saved lpac_latitude/lpac_longitude values (with compatibility for older prefixed values). Missing or invalid coordinates hide the location action.
