Do I need an access to “IT-Recht Kanzlei München” to use the plugin Terms & Conditions Connector of IT-Recht Kanzlei?

Yes, you need to have booked one of the protection packages of “IT-Recht Kanzlei München” to transfer legal texts to your WordPress-installation.

Can I use the plugin “Terms & Conditions Connector of IT-Recht Kanzlei” both for websites/blogs and shops?

Yes. The plugin does not distinguish shops or “simple” websites. The only thing you need to do is assigning a page in your WordPress-Installation to every single legal text being made by IT-Recht Kanzlei.

Concerning Online-Shops: Does the shop need to be based on WooCommerce?

No. The plugin does not require special demands for your WordPress shop. Merely, there must be the appropriate pages to transfer the legal texts.

I use Polylang and receive “error 9”. Why? And what can I do?

When using Polylang, it’s possible that you receive “error 9”. This is because in your Polylang language settings, you chose a language other than German. To avoid “error 9”, you can choose between three options:

Solution #1
Set German as the default language. But note: When changing your language in Polylang, your URLs change. When being at the beginning of a project, this might not have any meaning to you. But when your URLs are already indexed in Google et al., you might want to keep your URLs.

Solution #2
Choose another multilingualism plugin, for example MultilingualPress. It works on WordPress’s Core Feature Multisite meaning that you can install different plugins for each of your individual language sites. Thus you can install the AGB-Connector on your German website without changing something on your other language pages.

Solution #3
Continue using Polylang, but add this snippet to fix the bug:

 add_filter( 'agb_connector_api_supported_language', function( $locale ) {
 return 'de';
 });
I cannot include the AGB-Connector correctly because I get “error 7”. What can I do?

Is your provider STRATO? Then, the solution is quite simple: STRATO is using a filter system which possibly blocks transmissions of other services when being activated. To be able to use the AGB-Connector, you go into your STRATO admin area, then to “Safety / ServerSide Security” and then, you deactivate the function “filter against Guestbook Spam”.
