When WooCommerce classic checkout is used, the plugin adds Saudi administrative regions to the state field and turns the city field into a city selector for Saudi Arabia. Other countries keep the normal WooCommerce city field. The first release focuses on Saudi Arabia only. It works locally inside WordPress, does not call any external service, does not collect analytics, and does not write directly to WooCommerce order tables. Main features: * Saudi Arabia region list for WooCommerce address fields. * City choices grouped by selected Saudi region. * Arabic or English labels, with automatic selection from the site locale. * Settings page to enable or disable the checkout enhancement. * HPOS-friendly behavior because WooCommerce stores the normal checkout fields. Important scope note: version 1.0.0 targets WooCommerce classic checkout. Install and activate WooCommerce. 2. Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/aetos-saudi-checkout-regions/` directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen. 3. Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” screen in WordPress. 4. Go to Settings > Aetos Saudi Checkout Regions for WooCommerce to review the options. ## FAQ ### Does this support WooCommerce Checkout Blocks? No. Version 1.0.0 targets the classic WooCommerce checkout fields. It does not alter Checkout Blocks. ### Does this change checkout fields for countries other than Saudi Arabia? No. The city selector is used only when Saudi Arabia is selected as the checkout country. ### Does this connect to a shipping, address, or map service? No. All region and city choices are local data inside the plugin. ### Does this write to WooCommerce order tables? No. The plugin lets WooCommerce store the normal billing and shipping city/state values. It does not query or write order tables directly. ### What happens if WooCommerce is not active? The plugin stays idle and does not cause a fatal error.
