Use this plugin to create multiple export files that contain sections of your blog. This plugin has been tested on WP & WPMU versions 2.7 – 2.8.4. The plugin may work on earlier versions of WP/ WPMU. All restriction options provided in the plugin are _optional_. If no restrictions are selected, this plugin generates the same export file as the export feature built into WP & WPMU. _Features_ Export by any optional combination of: * _Date Range_ – Start & end month/year * _Author_ – Same as WP/WPMU built-in export * _Category_ – Export a specific category * _Content type_ – Choose either posts or pages * _Post status_ – Choose Draft, Published, Scheduled or Private * _Blog Tag/Category Terms_ – Choose whether to include the blog’s complete list of Tags and/or Categories Support can be obtained through: [WordPress Forums](https://wordpress.org/tags/advanced-export-for-wp-wpmu?forum_id=10#postform) ## Installation 1. Upload the `advanced-export-for-wp-wpmu` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress 3. Great plugin, does what it’s built to do. The new WordPress 4.4 has changed some xml export tags and this plugin is an excellent alternative to who want to keep the old xml style used in blogbooker.com and other applications.
