Guests can submit a booking request from the property page; you review the enquiry in WordPress and follow up to confirm the stay. This is an independent integration built for Uplisting users. Grid or list view, filters, and results-per-page can be configured under **Advanced Connector for Uplisting Settings**. ### External services This plugin relies on Uplisting, a third-party property management service. It is required to import listings, show live availability and prices, and keep calendars in sync. The plugin does not work without an Uplisting account and API key. #### Uplisting Connect API Service: [Uplisting Connect API](https://connect.uplisting.io) (operated by Uplisting). What it is used for: * Importing property listings, details, amenities, and photo URLs into WordPress. * Loading availability calendars and day rates on property pages. * Calculating stay prices for dates a visitor selects. * Background calendar and rate sync after an API key is saved. What data is sent, and when: * After a site admin saves an API key, the plugin sends that key (HTTP Basic authentication) and, if configured, a client ID header on each API request. * Requests include the Uplisting property ID and, for calendars and pricing, the selected check-in and check-out dates. * These calls run when an admin tests the connection or imports a listing, when a visitor loads a property calendar or asks for a price, and on scheduled WordPress cron jobs. * Guest names, email addresses, phone numbers, and booking enquiry details are stored in WordPress. They are not sent to the Uplisting API. * Payment card data is never collected or sent. Guests submit an enquiry; you arrange payment separately. The first photo may be saved as the featured image in the WordPress Media Library. Visitors load gallery images from those Uplisting URLs. No personal visitor data is sent with those image requests. #### Uplisting calendar feeds (iCal) If a listing includes an iCal calendar URL from Uplisting, scheduled sync may request that URL with an HTTP GET to read busy dates. Upload the plugin to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory, or install it from the WordPress Plugins screen. 2. Activate the plugin. 3. Go to **Advanced Connector for Uplisting Settings**. 4. Open the Uplisting API tab and enter your API key (from your Uplisting Connect page). 5. Save your settings and test the connection. 6. Go to **Advanced Connector for Uplisting Import Properties** and import the listings you want on your site. 7. Choose or create your listing, reservation, and reservation success pages in Settings. 8. Add `[bizdex_uplisting_properties]` to a page, or assign the listing page in Settings so the archive appears automatically. ## FAQ ### Does this plugin require an Uplisting account? Yes. A valid Uplisting account and API key are required. Generate the key on the Connect page in Uplisting. ### Are Uplisting and Bizdesire affiliated? No. This is an independent WordPress integration built for Uplisting users. Uplisting is a trademark of its respective owner. ### How do I get an API key? Sign in to Uplisting, open the Connect / API settings, and create a key. Paste it into **Advanced Connector for Uplisting Settings Uplisting API**. Use Test Connection to confirm it works. ### Can visitors search available properties? Yes. The listing page and shortcode include filters for dates, location, guests, and bedrooms. Availability is checked against the Uplisting calendar. ### How do bookings work? Visitors choose dates and guests on a property page, then submit their contact details. The request is stored as an enquiry in **Advanced Connector for Uplisting All Bookings**. You contact the guest to confirm the stay and arrange payment. ### Does this plugin process credit cards? No. The plugin never collects or stores payment card data. Booking requests are enquiries that you complete offline. ### Where are imported properties stored? Each Uplisting listing is imported as a WordPress property. You can edit details in the WordPress admin. Galleries use the image URLs provided by Uplisting. ### Can I change the listing layout? Yes. Settings include grid or list view, results per page, gallery size, currency, and which WordPress pages are used for listings, checkout, and the success screen. ### Which emails does the plugin send? You can send a new-booking notice to the site admin, plus guest emails for booking confirmation, cancellation, and payment received. Subjects and headings are editable in Settings. ### Does the plugin stay in sync with Uplisting? Yes. After you save an API key, the plugin schedules background jobs to refresh listing prices and calendars so availability on your site stays current. ### What data is sent to Uplisting? The plugin sends your API key (and optional client ID) to authenticate. For calendars and prices it also sends the property ID and stay dates. Guest contact details from an enquiry stay in WordPress and are not sent to Uplisting. See **External services** in this readme for terms and privacy links. ### Is the plugin translation ready? Yes.
