## Description

AdminGrip keeps menu organization in the existing WordPress admin sidebar.

Grab it. Move it. Done.

There is no separate menu editor and no settings screen.

 1. Click Arrange Menu.
 2. Drag a top-level menu item by its grip.
 3. Drop it.
 4. Click Done.

The order is autosaved for you only on that site. Reset it at any time.

AdminGrip does not rename, hide, reveal, or change permissions for menu items. Submenu
ordering is not part of version 0.1.1.

### Keyboard usage

Enter arrangement mode and focus a menu item’s grip button.

 * Alt + Arrow Up moves the item one movable position up.
 * Alt + Arrow Down moves the item one movable position down.

Keyboard moves use the same autosave path as drag and drop. WordPress accessibility
announcements report movement and save results.

### Data and uninstall

Reset clears the current user’s site-specific `admingrip_menu_order` preference.

Version 0.1.1 intentionally does not perform broad user-meta deletion during uninstall
because safe multisite-wide cleanup would add disproportionate risk. Use Reset before
uninstalling when preference cleanup is desired.

## Installation

 1. Upload the `admingrip` directory to `/wp-content/plugins/`.
 2. Activate AdminGrip through the Plugins screen.
 3. Use Arrange Menu near the bottom of the normal site admin sidebar.

## FAQ

### Does this change the menu for other users?

No. The preference belongs only to the current user on the current site.

### Does this change permissions?

No. AdminGrip only reorders menu items WordPress already exposes to the current
user.

### What happens when I install another plugin?

Its menu remains available. AdminGrip never removes newly discovered menu items.

### Can I reorder submenus?

Not in version 0.1.1.

### Does it run on the front end?

No. AdminGrip loads its assets only in the normal WordPress site admin.
