I got in touch with my hosting company which reviewed the plugin. Meanwhile, I managed to upload the plugin but I couldn’t activate it. The reason was that the server security was detecting the malware and moving it to quarantine. Finally my hosting company (Webempresa) confirmed that they had detected malware, so they urged me to remove it completely, which I did. Still not sure if this has malware or the security norms of my hosting are strict, but I prefer to be cautious.
