Enjoy the same great Page Builder experience across (almost) all your websites templates. Use SiteOrigin Page Builder to layout your themes single templates, archive templates, author archives, search results, 404 and nothing found pages. Template Builder works for both standard posts and custom post types. ACF fields are supported with a set of dedicated widgets designed to provide a simple front end for your ACF data. Any conditional display logic you have set is respected and cross link data is available via post object fields. ### SETUP All layouts are built using a reusable layout system. You add layouts under Appearance > Reusable Layouts. Create a new layout and add some of our widgets. E.g The Title, The Content. Set the meta data (under the builder) to use the layout. E.g Single > Post. To build archives create a layout using The Post widgets. Template Builder auto calculates the posts per page setting, but be sure to include at least 1 The Post widget. It is possible to mix and match layouts within the same archive to create more interesting lists. ### CUSTOM WIDGETS ### Loop Layout Use a SiteOrigin posts query for your data source and pick a layout. Template Builder will then dynamically populate your widgets content for each item in the loop. ### Placeholder Image Insert an image from placeholder.com. ### ACF WIDGETS ### ACF Date Output a date from an ACF date field, formatted as per the ACF settings. ### ACF Email Output the value from an ACF Email field, with options to link email, link text or plain text. ### ACF File Output or link to a file supplied via an ACF File field. ### ACF Google Map Output an ACF Google Map, to use Google Maps set your API key under Settings > Page Builder > Echelon. ### ACF Image Output an image from an ACF Image field, choose from available image sizes. ### ACF Number Output a formatted number from an ACF Number or Range field. ### ACF Text Output the value from an ACF Text, Text Area or Select field. ### ACF URL Output or link to the URL from an ACF URL field. This widget also creates linked icons. ### TEMPLATE TAG WIDGETS ### Blog Info Output information about your website, such as it’s title and description. ### Comments Link Output a link to a posts comments template. ### Comments Template Output the themes included comments template. ### Count Comments Display the number of approved comments a post has. ### Get Avatar Output the post authors avatar with a configurable size. ### Get Search Form Output the themes included search form. ### Get Term By Output information about a taxonomy term including it’s name, description and post count. ### The Date Output a posts date, the date format is based on your WordPress settings. ### Next Post Link Output the link to next post sequentially. The link can be the posts title or custom text. ### Post Type Archive Title Output the title for a Custom Post Type archive. ### Previous Post Link Output the link to previous post sequentially. The link can be the posts title or custom text. ### Single Term Title Output the page title for taxonomy term archive. ### The Archive Description Output category, tag, term, or author description. ### The Archive Title Output the archive title based on the queried object. ### The Author Meta Output information about a posts author including, display name, description, first name, last name, nickname and email. ### The Category Output a separated list of the categories a blog post belongs to. ### The Content Output the posts main content, including Gutenberg. ### The Excerpt Output a post excerpt or generated excerpt with configurable length. ### The Permalink Output a link to a post’s permalink with configurable text. ### The Post Increment the post counter when creating archives. ### The Post Thumbnail Output a posts featured image, choose form available size and if the image should link to the post. ### The Posts Pagination Output the pagination links for an archive. ### The Search Query Output the entered search query when showing search results pages. ### The Tags Output a separated list of the tags a blog post belongs to. ### The Terms Output the terms from a taxonomy in a separated list. ### The Time Output the time of a post (no date). ### The Title Output the title of a post with option HTML tag.
