WordPress.org needs to be user-friendly

    I've posted this in the kvetch box, and sent an email back to whatever ghost dept. sends out passwords to new users.

    For an entire week, I tried to access the forums for help, but since my old email account is no longer accessible, and I could't remember my password, I registered as a new user with a new email. Failed to get password, so had to do it again-new user, new email.

    Meanwhile, my site has crashed due to a plugin that I installed, that was recommended on my dashboard as compatible, etc. All I wanted was a Subscribe button, such as WP.com and Blogger have.

    I had to spend $60 I couldn't afford to have techs repair the site, and it won't be up for another day, maybe more. It's been a week.

    After finally gaining access to the forums, I still can't figure out how to post a question, change my password and email settings, or get in touch with the plugin developers who I really, really detest.

    So, I have to rant inside this box, and hope that some inappropriately named 'Happiness Engineer' will see this, and do absolutely nothing about it.

    My site is ChezGigi.com, and has been in existence for at least three years. I hate WP.org now, and would recommend it only to the North Koreans, maybe. Do they deserve it?
