When Rss widget fails

When the rss feed entered in to the rss widget, I think there should be some text saying something like "Sorry. the feed is down for the moment", instead of exposing sensitive data (like the cpanel user name) for the whole world (ie a security risk).
Example of what it says now (sensitive data replaced with asterisks:

Warning: Attempt to assign property of non-object in /home/***/public_html/wp-includes/rss.php on line 449

Can we also add a check to make sure the user isn't inputting the rss feed of the blog they are on? (Yes, it happens.)

WordPress uses SimplePie, so this is now irrelevant (WP also shows a proper error too).
