Uploaded files in Backup/Restore and Import/Export

If you want to move your blog completely to a new domain a simple import/export operation doesn't not provide a solution for moving uploaded files or at least mass fixing uploaded images (or files) urls.
Assuming I moved my blog from myolddomain.com to mynewdomain.net, there must be an effective way to mass edit posts containing photo urls like http://myolddomain.com/wp-content/uploades/2007/01/01/myphoto.jpg to update their urls with something like http://mynewdomain.net/wp-content/uploades/2007/01/01/myphoto.jpg (considering manual or automatic wp-content/uploads moving).

I'd love to see more options with exporting, specifically to be able to export without comments. This can really decrease the file size.

And yes, this is because I'm planning on writing some sneaky 3rd party apps so that WordPress Multiusers bloggers do things that involves using the Export file.

Also, I think I noticed that the comments in the Akismet spam folder are included in the XML file?

I've been wanting more features in the built in exporter/importer for ages and I'm glad to see someone took the challenge and created one.

Offers more flexibility for exporting and importing content.
