Secured back-end login

    For admin panel,if user enters invalid credentials for x number of times then log-in should be disabled for x minutes. Also, new password should be sent to the admin's mail automatically. It makes back-end more secured & also reduces unauthorized access & hacks.

    why use plugin when it comes for security? wordpress itself should provide this functionality. I don't think using plugin in this condition makes sense.

  4. It's a balance of security vs accessibility.

    Because ssl is still complicated to set up right.

    Because the majority of users won't know how to unlock themselves if they get their ip locked out.
