'rel' tag while adding a link in visual editor mode

    I think it would be easier as well as good if user would be able to add 'rel' value while adding a link in editor. It can be handy from the eye of SEO. So, all in all my proposal is to add 'rel' option while adding link in WordPress editor.

    Then link then would appear as:
    <a href="https://google.com" rel="nofollow">google</a>

    There are plugins like https://wordpress.org/plugins/nofollow/ that can help you do that.

    There are plugins but does it make sense to have plugins for this purpose? The editor already provides option for "target" attribute so why not for "rel"? Adding extra plugin for this sort of simple task can be confusing for layman or normal users.

    Not as many people need rel nofollow, since they're actually TRYING to spread link power for SEO :)
