Post to different pages

It would be superb to be able to post a normal post to different pages without having to install plugins or change in codes.

What do you mean 'Different pages'?

I think he/she need the capability to publish different posts into different pages automatically, not in a single Blog page as default.

By now, this could be achieved by:
    - create a custom front page
    - create custom menu and put category pages in it, then set the custom menu as primary menu
    - publish post using categories

Using this setting, each published posts will be accessible to visitor via category pages instead of Blog page (which is not shown on primary menu).

This is a simple 3 steps customization, actually. And I think misslia want this to be default setting for WordPress.

    Look at this work around:

I know you have to install a plug-in, but better than nothing.

I installed the page links to plug in and it was enough for me to made two separate blogs using the categories.

I want to organizer posts on different pages. for example i want my DIY post to be under my DIY menu page and my recipes under the food menu page. Right now my posts are in both pages for some reason. Can anyone please help me figure this out?

Hello, I am totally new to the World of Web Development.. Have studied every bit of the development in last 3 months over my favourite School "Google" and posts like this and people like you guys.. What do you guys think, if I make a category and link that category to the Menu. and post to the category, would that cause any problem in posting different pages.. sure, a copy would be in the blog post page, but another would be in the category right? and to avoid this, if you make a different front page, and allocate posts to a hidden page, (or make an archive or all the news - as a blog post page) people wont look normally into the archive or all the blog posts, instead they will select from the menu the categories... other wise so far, the only possible way is Plugin..
if there is an easier way, let me also know.. :)

What you just described doing is what WP can do out of the box.

Assign a post to the category.

Add the category to the menu.

Make a static front page, or a front page that excludes certain categories.

    Hi all,

I do not want a plugin and I am really not tech savvy.

I need step by step how to add posts to different pages.

I have two pages on my website - a blog page, currently set as the posts page.

I have another page called 'products' where I also want posts to go but I do not want these to appear on both pages and vice versa.

Without using code, how can I make this arrangement.

I would have hope you could create two categories and instruct wordpress to send a certain category to a certain page but alas this does not exist.

Thank you and I hope you can solve what should surely be a very simple task?
