Option to change Visual Editor background color while editing White color text

    Over the years working with wordpress visual has been the improved a lot. but one thing i feel requires immediate attention is adding an option to change the background color of visual text editor while working with light colored text, including white color text.

    sometimes people work with white color text sometimes black color text or someother color. Its almost impossible to work with white color text in visual editor because the background of visual editor is also white, so a option in the visual editor menu area that will allow users to change colors of visual editor background will be great just like we have option to change font color.

    in functions.php add: add_editor_style();

    create editor-style.css:
    .mceContentBody.wp-editor {
    background-color: #000;
    color: #fff;

    i want this functionality on the wp text editor, just like you are able to change font color using wordpress wsiwyg text editor, i want the option to change background color of text editor through wordpress wsiwyg text editor.

    i don't want to people to add code in their functions.php file

    I definitely agree, this is a MUST HAVE!!

    It is so common now to edit text that is over a picture, I have white texts on so many websites I manage. Every time I have to edit these texts I have to turn them black, then put them white again.. and every time I am thinking: I am really using a CMS that powers 70%+ of todays websites? Are we really in 2018? Feels like the 80s.

    Please WP team, consider this!!!
