NoFollow Link Option in Insert/Edit Link

When I click the Insert/Edit Link in the post editor, while inserting the link, there should be an option to nofollow the link if needed.

It could be a simple checkbox for nofollow, or maybe a radio button/drop down choice with dofollow selected by default.

Will be very useful as right now you need to go to text edit and add it manaully everytime you need to. With so many Google penalties, this would seem useful. Should not be difficult to implement also.

Wow, that looks good. I wish this was incorporated in the WordPress core.

4 years have passed and still don't have the nofollow option native on WordPress, unfortunely. I hope this will be implemented soon for all of us. :)

An option to add nofollow directly from the wp editor will be good instead of using a plugin that somehow increases the server load and effects the page speed.

I was expecting wp that the team will add this most required feature in the upcoming editor in WordPress v5.0 - Gutengerg.

Hope any of the WP core developers will soon consider this mandatory feature.

It still has to be installed a plugin to set a tick for the NoFollow option. Unfortunately we are so forced to use more and more plugins ..
