Management pages

This would definitely be a great thing. Managing sites with 700+ pages is a pain in WP. I have tested a number of plugins for this, but there is always some problems with them one way or another.

Well, I really think it's a good idea to have it as standard in such way that there is a "+" or a button to expand the child pages, and so on.

I entirely agree with this proposal and would like to see it implemented.

There's now a plugin called Page Management that hides all the child pages (rather than just the child pages of a particular page). I'll bring out a new version though that'll show/hide child pages of a particular page. The plugin will put a '-' on each page which, when clicked, will change to a '+' and hide the child pages of that page. Clicking on '+' would show the child pages again.

There can be a settings page with an option for whether the pages should be expanded or not by default.

Please let me know if you have any requests for more options or anything else because I'll be updating soon.

It's nice if there is a plugin for it, but a suitable core function would fit me personally better.

    Super idea!

This is much better than setting Options to show 300 pages and scrolling all day to find a page.

And I echo the above mention about sorting by name.

    Thank you for this suggestion.

Definitely should be added to wordpress a long time ago. I have a huge site (800+ pages), and I'm having a hard time finding all those pages. Usually I try to sort them alphabetically.

The option idea is really awesome, what I would add in the setting section, and it should be on by default.

You can just search for the page you want to find, can you not?
