Improving color accessibility for color-blind users

    Hi

The idea is to improve the color accessibility when installing third-party themes and plugins. They usually do not support color-blind schemes. I've read about the custom plugins like SEO plugin by Yoast for WordPress, where color-blind users change the image of the balls which indicate if SEO is good.

    Cheers

There are already iPhone apps for color-blind people. As well as design guides for such cases (for example, on Medium) and "Spectrum" plugin solutions for Chrome.
But what I mean is the inbuilt color-blind feature that could be applied automatically to all themes and plugins which do not have it.

This is up to the theme itself.

There are so many guides on how you can improve user experience for users with color blindness. But these is something that should come with your theme not wordpress CMS. Like this website has implemented color blindness features after working hand in hand with theme developers. However, these article https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2016/06/improving-color-accessibility-for-color-blind-users/ walks you through how you can implement different features on your UX to improve color blind people experience on your website.

I am using FocusBlog on Footwear Havens together with a theme builder and what I love about it is the fact that you have total control when it comes to color optimization, even when you are designing your pages. I am still green on color blindness when it comes to design, but this is something I am getting down to as I learn more about WordPress.
