Force Password Change On First Login

  1. Inactive

It would be great under the General Options if there was the option to force a password change on first logon.

This could me I wouldn't have to TELL my users after I've created an account that they MUST change their password, or I would know it!

This is what I'm looking for, a plugin that I can use it right now. For security reason, I was set a date that WordPress will force users to change their password monthly or yearly, something like that.

    Bump.

Was looking for this plugin as well. Along with the forced password change date/time (ie. every 90 days.) I would like to be able to set the parameters of the password as well (ie. 12 characters in length with at least one letter and number.)

I'm looking for this as well. It would be great if this was included as an option in core functionality. Has anyone found a plugin to do this now?

Just another voice in the chorus -- desperately seeking this functionality.

  7. While I don't think it's forced, on new WordPress installs there is a noticed at the top, in a red box, suggesting that the user changes their password! - But yeah, if you add an account, I don't think that message shows, maybe that could be changed to reflect all users on their first login and/or visit? - That's only saying it doesn't already do that?!
