Favourites on the Plugin Directory

How about adding a button/link to add a plugin from the plugins directory to a list of favorites?

I'm using some plugins over and over again and have to look them up each time I need them. Having a list of favorites, would make looking these up so much easier. Plus, you'll have the possibility to "park" plugins that look interesting for future use.

  2. This might be more of a feature of WordPress.org site than the actual codebase itself.

The idea would be linked with your login details for the WordPress.org site and you could rate plugins or mark them as 'favourites' for your own collection.

I would definitly love / use this feature.

Just to have a simple list of all plugins you use on every WP project, so you can (one-click) install the most recent version of them.

The current "Featured | Popular | Newest | Recently Updated" classification isn't that useful to me.

What about extend this idea to - to add plugins to favourites and organize favourites to install-bundles. So when installing new wp, just search for my bundles under my profile or from bundles directory and install whole bundle at once.
    "Featured | Popular | Newest | Recently Updated | Most Favorited | My Favorites | Bundles" ???

I do the same with a delicious account and save the plugin URL under named delicious tags , like those mentioned above - I also have a test site set up locally with only install plugins which I update and FTP for each site
