Looks like I'll be updating jmc_event_manager and porting it to WordPress soon then.
I'll push for it to be my first test using http://code.google.com/ too.
It would be nice to have a plugin like wooglecal in WordPress.
EC3 seems broke to me. I've been trying to use it on my site to display listing of future events in the sidebar, but clicking on the event title does nothing. Would be nice if a working event calendar were incorporated in WordPress.
I would also vote for a calendar plug-in that allowed multiple users the opportunity to view upcoming events as well as to easily ADD upcoming events. We've got a group blog and it would be really nice if they could just add events and let me manage them rather than running the idea through me and then have me work to get them posted.
Personally, I am looking to create a 'Whats On' Guide type site. Where each venue has contributor level access, and can add their own events to the site via the admin section. A big problem for me at the moment, is finding a plugin that would only allow each venue to post a event that is going to be held solely at their location. Also, these events would need to be listed by region or area.
Tricky... but surely doable?!
