Editable CSS and online theme creation.

I'm not a cheapskate but, blogger gives the user rights over the template and the css. Unfortunatley blogger sucks and isn't optimized, and the templates are hard to modify the only thing that's good is that google indexes them faster. Css doesen't harm the user that visits the site, and anybody can create. Editing css can be ok as long as the script has less then 50kb. There should also be a place for uploading images for the theme. Total size of theme images should not exceed 100kb. This would make wordpress more popular, having massive users coming in from blogger.

So wordpress, please let us create our own personalized themes for wordpress.com.

    Thank you.

I may be wrong about this, but as far as I know this ideas forum is only for WordPress.org sites (self-hosted installations), not WordPress.com sites (hosted by WordPress).

The ability to alter CSS and change themes is inherently part of a self-hosted installation, so this is not an issue.

So if you are talking about a wordpress.com site, you probably want to voice your opinion somewhere over there.

This is for wordpress.org. WordPress.com has its own forums on wordpress.com.
