Contact form to the WP Core

Even though some may find it trivial, but there are many people out there using WP for other purposes then blogging. Maybe it's time for WP to consider making an administrative option for contact form, so you could insert fields as you desire, the current contact form plug-in is awesome, but can be somewhat limited, depending the situation one might want to use it for.
I know there are other interesting ideas, but this seems to me only natural thing to be implemented.

Exactly - I agree, a form plugin which allows you to add a customised form to specific posts as you see fit (either you can decide manually like a poll plugin or to posts in a specific category only) in the case that a reader wants to request information specific to that individual posts content: eg a post about a new garden accessory on gardening blog allows people to request details on just that specific accessory via the post via a quick form slotted in at the bottom of the post. At present the protocol is option seems to be to request more details via the comments which doesn't look great from a reader perspective.

I suggest adding Contact Form ][ to the core.

Absolutely, it is a must every one of my websites needs anyway. Contact Form ][ is a poor piece of code with no scalability in mind. There has to be a better solution, possibly with an attachment option.
We should be able to do that reusing comments and wp-admin picture upload classes.

I couldn't find a real simple plugin, with easy customization.
So I decided to find a easy way to do the same.
Now I use the comments file, like a contact form.
I just removed the code that shows on page the comments already made by others, so I only receive the comments at my email, and at the wordpress admin screen.

The comment by default emails the administrator, So for me this works equal to a contact form.

I guess people could use better wordpress, before to ask for features that WordPress already has.

I hope this make easier to someone, for me it were the best solution, I really use it at a lot of sites I have.

We need a simple plugin for a contact form that does not insist you add various codes that css illiterate folks such as myself can't figure out. Either that, or some of these explanations need more detail.

I would like something that automatically adds a link to my header and links page. Something I can configure to my email address so that readers can contact me as needed. So far, I've tried every contact form that I can find and can't get any of them to work this way.
