Changing the private post feature

Today a private post can only be viewed by an administrator and editor. Why not change that feature to include all logged in users. That way everyone easily can create special content for subscribers without having to use any extra plugin for membership.

I think this feature should be changed to manage the members and guests. It will help the administrator to manage the content of website more easily. Content for everyone and content for member without having to install any plugin.

  3. "Members" and "Guests" aren't normal WP roles.

You can filter WordPress to allow all logged in users to see private posts: http://wpengineer.com/1906/display-private-posts-to-logged-in-users/

I think this is not truly necessary! because the private content is only for personally. If Administrator and editor want to share to a person why they do not set password to access that for one!
