Cancel upload

If you are using plupload plugin - there is functionality with cancel button. You just need to subscribe on cancel event.
If you want to implement your own cancel functionality - please try to read some smart articles about JS abort request. It's not too hard to implement.

    Thanks,

You don't know how many times I've done exactly that and wished there was an option to cancel! (right now in fact!!)

I'm sure I remember a previous version of WP had that? Or maybe I'm thinking of something else

Yes guys. Please do so. Add a "Cancel Upload" feature. I have been waiting for 10 minutes already cause I accidentally selected a 250 mb zip archive to upload instead of an image.

I have much more time to spent while waiting so I could keep on writing till this comment has become a novel. But I wont do so because I have no talent in novels.

So please add the cancel upload button already.

    xx

Workaround: I have discovered that if you close the Upload popup (X in top right corner) then Save the draft, it cancels the upload.
