    Hi guys,

    Its years, I'm wondering if there is a better way to show plugins in the WP install new plugin area.

    These are my thoughts:

    I always had an hard time to find the right plugin for a specific problem I'm trying to resolve, I end up doing a deep search on google cause there is no clear separation between plugins.

    I think that plugins should be categorized and a good hierarchy should be studied to make easier to find all plugin related to a specific use;

    Also there should be an additional info about plugins, costs type should be visible, I mean: completely free, freemium, and so on;

    I use WordPress since years to create websites to my customers, I love WordPress and I'll be very happy to help improve it, I'm no php developer, but if possible I'll like to help in this addition, if you think that would be useful for the WordPress community.

    Meanwhile I wish you and all WordPress team,

    an Happy New Year :-)

  2. I think one of the main problems is that there are so many plugins for so many different problems. Its just too much to categorize all of them.

    Also the search works fine for me.
    That and the fact, that u only install the plugins once and its done, i think its ok the way it is.
