Allow plugin developers to set support link and RSS feed in Plugin Repository

As a plugin developer I find it very frustrating having to check the WordPress support forums for questions and support for my plugins. For all of my plugins, I set up bbPress forums, and it would be nice if we could include something to change the links to support, and the support feed, shown on the plugin page to our own support forums.

I don't always remember to check the WordPress support forums, and that makes it look as though I am not supporting my plugins. Perhaps something in the readme.txt or the main plugin file that allows us to set the Support URI and the Support Feed would be the best way to do this.

I think the plugin repository should restore the section that allows developers to place a direct link to their site just like in the theme repository.

Hmm, this is marked as implemented? I see that BuddyPress is now able to do this at WordPress.org, is it possible for everyone now?

Everyone has a support tab now, theirs was manually altered as a part of a one-off experiment to see HOW it might be done long term... Suffice to say, not with the current state of affairs :/
