Adding HTML Code Widget

Hi, this is just a concern for wordpress. Actually, it's not a big deal but I just want to point it out:

When I add HTML on my widget, I would click "text" then paste the html code. But when you click the edit button on the text widget, it disappears.

What I found out recently is that after adding the text widget, you need to click save changes first. After that, you can then click edit and then paste your own html code. Why is that so? I'm using wordpress 2.6.

Another thing is when it comes to editing html codes. For example, you have pasted an html code and saved it. When you want to edit it or at least copy the html code that you pasted, you cannot do it. You cannot just copy and paste it.

This wigged me out when I discovered it! I have to delete the entire widget and start over or sit on the delete button. I cannot believe they did not think to make it where you can highlight and delete or paste over. I am looking for a plugin that will do the trick.
