    My workflow includes a lot of screen-shotting and pasting in WordPress directly as web.

    I do not use and do not prefer to use Word for publishing blogs.

    guys - this needs to go into core ASAP; The imager elevator plugin is pretty good though :)

    +1 on the paste-clipboard-image into WordPress! Surprised that with all the energy spent on Gutenberg this didn't have priority... something like this would be really appreciated by the average user. Especially since this is done in Google Slides.

  4. @bkjproductions Actually you CAN copy/paste images into Gutenberg.

    It's hard code to write, mind you, and doesn't always work, but check out https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/3537

    @customdeveloper Yes, once the image is in the content, it is just like any other image, so you could add ALT tags.

    The frustrating thing about this, to me, is that the technology is here, in the form of the Image Elevator plugin, so why not put that into core?
