A good plugin for an academic journal

    Dear All,
Wordpress, being an excellent publishing platform is perhaps the easiest to use for those with less or no programming knowledge. And academics like me do not have programming knowledge.
Although there have been open source academic journal publishing systems like OJS (https://pkp.sfu.ca/wiki/index.php?title=OJS_Documentation), it is sad that there is no WordPress plugin that can meet this need.
Even a good paid plugin that can take care of editorial workflows required for an academic journal on the lines of OJS would be great help.
I request someone in the community to please seriously consider developing a plugin for the purpose.
    Thanks and warm regards

    Dear Mika,
    Thank you for the response.
I've read this post. My 'idea' was to have a wordpress native plugin that doesn't require me to do two installations and then sync content only. I was meaning to having a plugin that will do the job of OJS entirely in wordpress.
    Thanks and warm regards

Someone just has to write it. It certainly can be done, but you'd have to hire someone to write it or wait until someone with the skills has a need and writes it :/

That's basically how open source works.
