2-step verification for WordPress.org accounts

    It would be nice if WordPress.org accounts were more secured via Google Authenticator or something like that. Even if a hacker finds out my password, he won't be able to mess with my plugins hosted here etc.

    Your password here is tied to at least five separate systems, not all of which allow secondary authentication (forums, ideas forums, make blogs, codex, trac, SVN, plugins, themes....) so it's not feasible at this time :(

    The way of stoging passwords in SQL is enough strong now, so i don't think is this a potential problem or a place for better job.
    Simply, use complex passwords, use special characters in passwords and never log in from unknown or not controled computers. This is a key to a safe account, not the code.
