Every block comes with unique toolbar icons. These block-specific controls allow you to manipulate the block right in the editor. The **Next Post** block toolbar shows 7 buttons: * Transform to * Drag * Move up/down * Change text alignment * Bold * Italic * Options [⌊Block toolbar in the Next Post block⌉⌊Block toolbar in the Next Post block⌉[ **Transform to** [⌊Transform option in the Next Post block⌉⌊Transform option in the Next Post block⌉[ You can transform the **Next Post** block into the [Columns](https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/columns-block) block or the [Group](https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/group-block) block. **Drag** [⌊Drag option in the Next Post block⌉⌊Drag option in the Next Post block⌉[ To drag and drop the block to a new location on the page template, click and hold the rectangle of dots, then drag it to the new location. The blue separator line indicates where the block will be placed. Release the left mouse button when you find the new location to place the block. **Move up/down** [⌊Move up/down in the Next Post block⌉⌊Move up/down in the Next Post block⌉[ The up and down arrow icons can be used to move the block up and down on the page. Detailed instructions on moving a block within the editor can be found [here](https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/moving-blocks/). **Align text** [⌊Align text in the Next Post block⌉⌊Align text in the Next Post block⌉[ Using the alignment drop-down from the toolbar, you can align the whole paragraph text to the left, make it center-aligned or orient it to the right. **Bold** The **Next Post** block allows you to change the “Next” default label of the link to a phrase of your choice. If so, you can apply bold formatting to the new label. **Italic** Similar to the bold formatting, you can change the link’s label and apply italic formatting. Details about **More options** can be found in this [support article](https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/more-options/). ## 󠀁[Block settings](https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/next-post-block/?output_format=md#block-settings)󠁿 The block settings panel contains customization options specific to the block. To open it, select the block and click the **Settings** icon next to the **Publish** button. Here are the options for the **Next Post** block: **Settings** Under the **Settings** tab, turn on **Display title as a link** button in the Block Settings to link the Next Post link to the URL of the next post.
