Works well & is responsive
By , for WP 3.5.1

It's very flexible and has many features that I wanted. No problem accepting my desired plug-ins and it allowed an easy child theme. It works great on every browser and device that I'm been able to check it with which is a wide variety.

Flexible and a nice base of user in their support forum
By , for WP 3.5.1

Just chiming in to say I am a big fan of this theme. I use it as the starting point for every site I do and love its power and flexibility...and how strong it is in the area of optimizations for different platforms. For example, you can have your mobile users see an easier menu treatment with a click of a button, and all that hard work of keeping the site looking good on any viewing platform is done for you.
I can do everything I need to do without ever touching a post or page.php file, or editing a custom css. It has hooks to do all that from within its powerful admin interface.

I add all my CSS customizations to a Custom CSS section, and it saves them in one spot. Then, when they tweak the theme for things like better mobile support (which it is already great at) I can update the theme just like any plug-in, and using the "Weaver II Theme Extra's Plugin" (Wish it was built into the theme, but isn't, so make sure you add this separate plug in too! - thank you Bruce Wampler) you can reapply all your styling, and you are good to go.

The WeaverII subthemes are not very different from eachother, which is disappointing, and might make you underestimate its power. I wish the subthemes would showcase some very different menu options and layouts...but don't be fooled..just create a custom subtheme, and give it a chance. It is fantastic, and I will not be building any more sites without it!

VERY customizable & GREAT support
By , for WP 3.5.1

Weaver has been a great theme for me, and I am still learning WordPress.

It has a great Admin layout, and options that make it a breeze to fully customize a site. The built-in per page options makes it simple to customize individual pages.

The support on the Weaver II forum/documentation has been extremely helpful and a great resource.

Excellent for our purposes as a nonprofit organization
By , for WP 3.5.1

I've been using Weaver II Pro for a long time now, for a non-profit organization's web site. I have both public areas as well as private areas for the staff and board of directors, and this theme lets me do it all (with the benefit of plugins). The price for the Pro version is really fair, and I feel with the amount of work this developer must have put into it, it's well-deserved. I think I'm using it more like a content management system than just a web site. FWIW here are the plugins I use with Weaver and they all play nice:

-Ajax event calendar (nice calendar)
-all in one favicon (adds favicon to browser)
-BM custom login (custom login page)
-content scheduler (expires posts automatically, I use it all the time)
-easy theme and plugin upgrades (at Weaver's recommendation)
-Fast secure contact form (fantastic plugin, I actually donated money to this developer, the plugin's so good)
-user access manager (CMS feature which allows staff and board of directors to access to their respective private areas of the site)
-Peter's login redirect (users were getting annoyed at going to the dashboard by default, this takes care of it)
-Q and A FAQ and Knowledgebase for WordPress
-SABRE (new user authentication, anti-spam)
-TinyMCE Advanced (duh!)
-Simple Login Log (tells me who logged in)
-Simple Section Navigation Widget (really good for CMS aspect of the site. I use it to provide a table of contents for the policies and procedures section of the site)
-Smooth Slider (nice sliders for the front page)
-TheThe Tabs and Accordions (makes really cool tabbed content)

All this from me who does not know (nor wants to know) how to code one line of PHP!

I used to have Simple Press Forum but got disillusioned when they went to a paid format. No forum any more.

A highly customizable theme with outstanding support, what else do you need :)
By ,

After looking for a highly customizable Theme for a long time, I settled down on Weaver II. I have been using the theme for a few months now, so for those of you out there looking for feedback, I though I would give you my impressions.

At first what attracted me was of course the highly customizable aspect of it (you can create virtually any layout with that theme), but also the fact that is was a fresh HTML5 / CSS3 rewrite, that it had full Mobile support (how can you even consider a theme these days that does not has fully integrated support for mobile devices :) ), and most importantly the fact that the developer seemed very active and had a very responsive support Forum (there is nothing worse than a great theme or plug-in that has poor ongoing support in the constantly changing world of WordPress).

In the Past Few month of using the theme, getting to know it in its intricate details, and participating in the forum, I am fully convinced that I have mad an Excellent choice.

Weaver not only has very flexible layout features including advanced header footer and menu options, but you also discover a host of Per Page and Per Post editing options that take the level of customization way beyond what you usually expects.
You can create pages with posts in many different ways, filter their content by any attribute like categories tags etc,, and you even have the ability to manage Custom Post Types in the page with posts templates and Shortcodes.
Shortcodes are another mine of features in Weaver for all sort of essential things from showing Post to Videos, to Widgets, Extra Menus, Social buttons even a Shortcoder etc…, the list is too long to go through.
On top of the many Layout features, Weaver gives you access to all sorts of HTML Insertions points in the structure of the pages making layout possibilities almost limitless.
You quickly find out that no matter your design or functionality problem, there usually is a solution within Weaver II, and that means less plug-ins required which for me is a big plus.
On the design side, you have an infinite number of places to customize the CSS of the site, and when the one object you want to style does not have its option, you can add any Custom CSS rules you need to tweak it.

And of course as mentioned previously Weaver II offers extensive Mobile device support which differentiates between Smartphones, Small Tablets and Large Tablets; it even differentiates between landscape and portrait for Small Tablets. This mobile support includes excellent automatic options as well as full Mobile customization. In today’s world where the majority of Web access is starting to be on these mobile devices, you cannot afford not to have this kind of support for your site.

In the end Weaver II succeeds to make it a breeze for total beginners to achieve what then want, but it also provides a structure that can be tweaked by advanced users at any level.

It is impossible to go through all the features offered by Weaver II but visit its site (weavertheme.com), it has the full documentation posted there, tutorials, video and a great demo site.

Most importantly, take it for a test drive, and take the time to learn all its functionalities, you will not be disappointed.

See you soon on the weavertheme.com/forum

A very enthusiastic Weaver II user :)
