I love using this theme for my professional writing portfolio. It's very clean, which helps show off my work. I really like the Archives page because it helps give an overview of all my samples, both by category and by date--it's great for sending along with my resume!

Tried the lot, even two premium theme which cost me over $80 each but keep coming back to Thematic as its the easiest to get my head around and much more important, loads fast without convoluted code.

A template theme ready made with all the essentials; easy to code, excellent documentation and prompt support, not to mention the friendly Thematic community.
