The number of options and flexibility of this theme is initially overwhelming. But if you stick with it and experiment you'll appreciate the thorough, high-quality design effort put into this theme. Regular updates and communication from the author are pluses that I appreciate. I feel this theme won't be abandoned as some are by authors who tire of the ongoing effort in keeping up with WP advancements.
From simple sites to complex projects, Suffusion have options and features for all you can think.
Can start a site in minutes by using one of the great 19 skins, or can change completely the look of Theme without editing any file - only from Suffusion Options and Custom Includes. Can have a great community oriented site with the help of Buddypress and Suffusion BP Pack or can start an online shop with Jigoshop or Woocommerce and Suffusion Commerce Pack.
If someone need help, we are 24/7 on the support forum for helping people.
I warmly recommend Suffusion,
Everything you need to easily create any blog ar any website you'd like to, step by step.
I use it at http://www.avoodware.com - an entire website, with 3 different blogs in it, and much more...
Great wordpress theme! Not only is the theme free but Sayontan and others are active on the forums with support topics. Highly recommended! With "Display Widget" and "s2member" you can create a very nice community site.
Personally coming from using Atahualpa and themeframe from bytesforall. This theme is a lot more customizable and intuitive out of the box.
You can look at sample of what can be done with Suffusion here:
I have been using Suffusion almost from the beginning. The author, Sayontan Sinha, has created a very flexible, excellent performing theme that has kept up with WP releases. His updates are useful and pertinent for example support of HTML5. He is incredibly supportive via his forum. Highly recommended. I use it at http://www.alanarnette.com/blog
There isn't much you can't do with Suffusion. It is, for all intents and purposes a ThemeFrame. From newbies to developers, what you want to see, you can get. I'm still trying to grow into it.
