I too find it looks terrible on phones. Disregarding that, just concerning with the desktop look, I found the theme is not so easy to work with compared to, say, the f2 theme (also free @ WP). So I tend to agree with others that say if you want it as is out-of-the-box, then OK, but I found myself spending too much time trying to crow-bar my objects into areas of the front page and not getting the results I wanted.
I really liked this theme except for the lack of slider. Is there anyway that can be inserted somehow through codes or some plugins.
Very nice theme and more importantly the support that has been given to others meant every query I had was answered by a simple search so I have managed to build a site with extreme ease.
I like Responsive because it follows all of the expected WordPress guidelines. It has simple menus for changing out the structure and logo areas of the page. The home page is pretty easy to customize and the whole site will resize for mobile devices.
Good stuff. Customized it to BF4BP.com/wp/
This is a great responsive theme. I like to completely edit my themes and this is a great framework to start with and build off of from there. It's simple enough and you don't get lost in jumbled/messy code. There is also great support and docs to go along with that.
with this theme jetpack subcrtiption widgets is making calls to https://jetpack.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php?for=jetpack every page load, it slows page generation time to jetpack api server response
/* filled a bug vs jetpack.. since twentytwelve has same problems with excess api requests */
This theme is great and adapts well between desktop and mobile. The support from Cyberchimps is fantastic and quick.
