Easy to use and configure, with lot of options to make it the best choice for your blog. Good slider, clean and free.

great theme featured
Considering it's free - fantastic theme. I've tried MANY themes for clients and MANY promise they can be customised and work with BuddyP etc.
Custom Community is the only one that seems to hit the right balance - it actually IS BuddyP ready, and has enough custom stuff without becoming unmanageable.
It has built in Buddypress support which is very useful (if needed).
Very flexible options, lots of colour choices, layout options etc.
You can have colours or images as background for post/page/widget - even some titles. Custom logo and header.
The options are the best laid out I've seen - very clear and easy to navigate.
My quibbles are...
The 'responsive' layout can get ugly, with search-boxes and menu's overlapping other content when browser window is resized.
The header effects only work within tight restrictions (certain page widths).
I'd like a little more flexibility in changing padding/margins without having to go into CSS.
I chose this theme because I wanted a basic template that didn't allowed me to hack easily.
Custom_community allows that. My only criticism is it could do with more documentation.
I think this is best
My dyslexia I guess but why am I finding the need to look online to find instructions I can understand on how to run the slide show?
This is how I would do it. It would be shipped with 3 header graphic so start with. They would be name with their dimensions like slide1-768-160.jgp slide2-768-160.jpg
Then I could see where they are and see the code and start to fiddle with it on the fly up and running. I saw the long list of examples page, but now I am looking for where I edit that and trying to wrap my head around articles and pages and controlling slide shows here and there.
So maybe if this setup was more of a given for me I would hav given this one a 5 star.
really very good
Needed a basic WP site, this theme worked great.
It is good, and support is amazing. The only downpoint is it is not truly mobile and will have big problems with smartphones and tablets.
The extensive theme settings are great, and the featured post slider on the home page is fine. If you have the responsive mode enabled, there are some problems with components of the page layouts overlapping with one another, and the page menu isn't handled well. Supposedly these issues will be fixed in v1.16 -- which Themegraft says is "coming soon". Assuming so, I'll up my rating to five stars then.
