What ever happened with the Kit MacAllister, the creator of this theme?
This used to be such a nice theme! Now, the theme is broken, nothing works, the developer is not answering questions... I ended up changing to another theme.
So sad... :(because this was (and still is) my favorite WordPress theme. I've tried various themes but this one still my favorite and miss using it. I liked it so much that I even donated a couple of times to the developer as a way to make sure the theme would be kept updated.
Would be nice if he (or someone else) would take over and updated the theme; I would switch to the theme immediately. :)
Tried it but sidebar was not showing in my setup. All the widgets appeared down all entries in the bottom. I changed to another theme but this one looked cool.
After adding a header image in wp-admin, it does not show up on the page.
Up until 1.5.9 the theme worked but was not a fully responsive theme. Lots of us were using it. Lots of us donated to the developer.
Then, the developer did a major overhaul of the theme to make it responsive . . . the result is quite "unresponsive"!! The Brunelleschi Options simply do not work!! The theme stays in "Classic" font and none of the other options seem to work either.
The sad thing is that we have tried to contact the developer; left comments on his home site, have a couple of threads going in the forum and he has remained silent. The theme has been broken since he came out with 1.6.3 in the fall. He now has 1.6.5 out which is equally broken. The guy is young and in college but we notified him of the problems long before winter break and nothing has changed. So sadly, a lot of us are coming on here and leaving reviews to warn people away from this theme!!
Checked this theme with TAC (Theme Authenticity Checker) and found encrypted code. base64 at the start of it.
Deleted the theme. Not impressed.
Had to delete it. Extremely slow to load. It is bogged down with useless script.
